Casio America Launches Limited-Edition G-SHOCK Collaboration With Joshua Vides

JERSEY CITY, N.J., March 18, 2026 (V SHADES) — Consumer electronics company, Casio America, Inc. has announced a limited-edition G-SHOCK collaboration with graphic artist Joshua Vides.

The collaboration introduces two models — the DW5600JV-7 and DW6900JV-1 — inspired by Vides’ “Reality to Idea” concept. The collection reimagines the 5600 and 6900 silhouettes using a monochromatic black-and-white design intended to reflect Vides’ hand-drawn aesthetic.

The DW5600JV-7 features a gloss white finish with black accents across the band, case, and dial. The DW6900JV-1 has a matte black finish with white stripes highlighting the watch’s contours and design elements. The timepieces incorporate multi-angle printing techniques designed to create the appearance of two-dimensional illustrations rendered in three dimensions.

Each model includes handwritten-style function labels around the dial, Vides’ signature traffic cone embedded in the LED backlight display, and a custom-engraved case back bearing his signature. The watches will be packaged in custom-designed boxes featuring both G-SHOCK and Vides branding.

“I’m excited to finally share my collaboration with G-SHOCK with the world. Almost two years in the works, I’m proud to ultimately showcase the final product in my backyard, Los Angeles,” said Joshua Vides.

The watches feature shock-resistant construction, 200-meter water resistance, a 1/100-second stopwatch, countdown timer, multi-function alarm, hourly time signal, LED backlight, flash alert, and 12/24-hour time format.

The limited-edition series will retail for $180. The collection will debut at a G-SHOCK x Joshua Vides pop-up event on March 14–15, followed by availability beginning March 16 at joshuavides.com. Nationwide availability will begin March 23 at gshock.com, the G-SHOCK Soho Store, and select retailers.
