“We are excited to bring the Tenōre ethos to life here in Waikiki. As we expand Tenōre’s presence, it felt natural to dedicate a space to the people we design and curate for — a place that’s more than just a store to shop. It’s where the community can come together regularly to connect and experience culture, wellness, and creativity first-hand. That’s what the Highest of the Ordinary is all about — elevating above what is considered standard,” said Pat Tenore, Founder of Tenōre.

The company’s program will include boxing classes led by Carlos Tangaro of Nito Boxing, jiu-jitsu seminars by the Ruotolo brothers, and performance sessions guided by instructor Brian Mackenzie. Surf sessions will be led by world-champion longboarder Kai Sallas. The store will also host environmental initiatives such as beach clean-ups and collaborate with community organizations including HOMERUN to organize bi-monthly 5K runs starting from the store.

In addition to its wellness and fitness programs, Tenōre will curate biannual art exhibitions featuring global, local, and emerging artists. The store will also host workshops, artist discussions, and youth programs to provide opportunities for cultural engagement in the area.
The Waikiki flagship follows Tenore’s earlier community-focused retail model established through the RVCA flagship in San Francisco’s Haight-Ashbury neighborhood. The company states the Honolulu location extends this approach by integrating local cultural elements with lifestyle programming.
The Tenōre flagship store is now open at 2250 Kalākaua Avenue, Waikiki. For more information, visit www.tenore.com.
