WHOOP Names Samuel Ross MBE as Global Creative Director in Multiyear Partnership

BOSTON, January 18, 2026 (V SHADES) — Human performance technology company WHOOP has announced a multiyear, global creative partnership with designer Samuel Ross MBE, who will serve as Global Creative Director, WHOOP x SR_A.

Under the collaboration, titled PROJECT TERRAIN, Ross will lead the development of limited-edition performance accessories and apparel, including customized WHOOP bands and new technical garments within the WHOOP Body collection. The products will be released through limited drops beginning later this year and continuing into 2028.

WHOOP stated that the partnership represents its first performance design collaboration and reflects the company’s expansion into performance fashion alongside wearable technology. Ross, whose design studio SR_A operates globally, has previously collaborated with brands including Nike, Apple, LVMH, and Oakley.

As part of the agreement, SR_A will also join WHOOP as an investor. WHOOP will additionally support the SR_A Black British Artist Grant and host a design residency for its selected recipient.

The first WHOOP x SR_A capsule collection is expected to be available globally in the coming months.
